We recognise that for many professionals, the pressure from external bodies can create such exhaustion and stress that we can lose our passion for children's wellbeing. This is why we have created the Therapeutic Mentors Network. A time set aside to come together, eat lunch and listen and tell stories of the good, the bad and the ugly. When we make space to spend time with each other, processing a little of what has been happening in our settings as we attempt to work in a trauma informed way, we feel supported and encouraged to keep focusing on the most important work- children's wellbeing.
We will have a national conference in 2019 in Bath.
